Step 2- Transfer the bones and veggies along with herbs in a pan and roast them for 30 minutes and toss them, then roast them for an additional 15-30 minutes more.

Step 3– Divide both the bones and vegetables into two pots and add bay leaves, star anise, peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, and apple cider vinegar. Now fill both the pots until the bones are merged in water and bring to boil.

Step 5– Now boil them in a low flame, removing any excess fat or foam. Simmer for 24 hours by boiling them for 2 days.

Step 6– Now strain the bones after they are fully simmered with a filter. Keep them aside and allow it to cool down.

How do you make vegetable broth palatable?

Step 1- Heat the oven and toss the veggies with olive oil in the heated pan and stir in every 15 mins. Cook for at least one hour till the vegetables become brown, and onions caramelize.

Step 2-  Boil all the veggies by reducing the heat to simmer. Bring the liquid reduced to half.

Step 3- Drain the remaining water and serve hot or cold.
