Certified Pedorthist: He is trained in manufacturing, fitting and modification of foot appliances and foot- ware. He takes the prescription of podiatrists who recommend special wear for the treatment of footwear to resolve feet problems. He is not allowed to diagnose the problem, but he can recommend you various qualities of footwear’s that are available with him.
Certified orthotist: If due to age or any deficiency your legs and feet have lost power then he will provide you with the mechanical devices to support your weak parts. The orthotist will also give you medicines that will make your parts functional again.
Certified prosthetist: Often fatal accidents can cause you missing hands, or legs. However, those days are over where we had to live with our missing parts as science has developed and evolved to the extent that you can now have artificial parts that are as good as the original. He specialises in the replacement of missing limbs and other body parts like fingers.
Certified prosthetist / orthotist: As the name suggests he combines both disciplines and he will recommend and provide you with mechanical devices or artificial limbs as your need be to resolve your feet problems.
